Dining Room Light Fixture

My dining room light fixture is one of my favorites in my home. It was an outdoor light fixture that I purchased and used indoors. It makes the prettiest light pattern when on. Yes, it is hung very low, which was a personal preference. What kind of light fixture is in your dining room?

Bethenny Frankel Turquoise Bead Necklace

Currently coveting Bethenny Frankel's turquoise necklace. Pic below from Bethenny Getting Married? I must have one. Oh, I must have one in my budget to be exact. So, I am picking up some turquoise beads at the Bead Maven, and 6 silver ones too, and stringing it all on a silver chain with 3 silver beads at each end. I can't wait. I think I might wear it with everything.

Farmhouse Table to Stylish Desk

So, I have an old farmhouse table, circa 1980's. Yes, I have been carting it around that long, move after move. Now, here in the southwest, ie. New Mexico, many put these on their back portal (porch, lani), you name it. However, I have wicked spiders, and the Hubs likes to hose the portal (ours is huge) off and leave standing water, so not very effective for us. However, I do have 3 tables and 2 loungers, and a cooking area, (I said it was huge). So I have been using this farm table as a desk for many years. I like the large work surface 48"x30", but I hate the look for a desk, great table not a desk. So I decided to cover it with pleather. You know that stuff that looks and feels like leather, but easily washable. Well, I went white. I love it. I should have taken better before pics, I just have one of the underside of the wood. But, anyway, I digress, I just stretched the pleather over the table, and stapled. Loves it, as they say. Any projects you are working on?

Boudoir Chairs

I have 2 old Boudoir Chairs, in need of reupholstering. I will spare you the before pics at this time, as I haven't even picked the fabric. I am just now looking for ideas. This great chair is amazing. It gives me tons of ideas. I love the extra back pillow, as well as the overstuffed seat pillow. Ideas, Ideas, Ideas. What are you redecorating?

It is perfect for my Cocktail Fridays. They don't have her Skinny Girl Margaritas here in the south. So, I wanted to order or make some. Imagine my pleasure when she had a YouTube Video on being a Fixologist. That's her fancy word for mixologist, but fixing it so a Skinny Girl can have a cocktail. Love it. I love it soooo much, I am making the Skinny Girl Cosmo tonight.

Vodka, Club Soda, Splash of Cranberry, 1/2 Lime. Yum.

Louis Chairs

Sorry, I don't know where this image is from, but I love the Louis Chair. The dog is cute too. I am looking for 2 Louis Chairs, one for me and one for my daughter, to pair with Parson's Desks. Love the look. Just am having no luck finding any. I have combed Craigs List, and Consigment Stores, and here in the Southwest, (New Mexico), it is Southwest furniture everywhere. I need some Louis Chairs. Still looking.

Swimming Pool Fountains -- My New One!!

I love swimming pools. Ours is an above ground -- in ground pool. So, when my pee-boy fountain was just sitting around, I found him a place to pee. Hahaha!! He pees in the pool. Now, I know some people won't find this funny, but I do.
