Aerin Lauder, heir to Estee Lauder, has the most wonderfully fun furniture. Here is a peek.

Loving her animal print couch.

In another room, loving her animal print chairs.

Rachel Zoe's New House 2011

Well, here it is. Rachel Zoe's 2011 $20,000 rental house.

I love white, but this truthfully maybe toooooo much. Also, anyone with kids, dogs, husbands, cats, friends, you name it, knows if it isn't washable, it will be stained. Also, no window treatments.

So the living room. Yes, she has a Jonathon Lounge. They look great but I do wonder if they are comfortable at all? Anyone? Love the couch, but the chairs, look bean bagish.

Man Room.

Dining room.

Kitchen. All very square and hard edged. Lots of branches around, in all rooms.

Bedroom.

More master bedroom. Tip, if you want a little fur on your bed, now is the time. The fur throws will be making their appearance at all the big box stores.

And yes, a house that big has to have big closets.

More closet.

Couldn't resist. Is she wearing the expensive "Push Present"?

So----love it hate it, take it or leave it, you decide.

Enjoy your Wednesday.

Rachel Zoe's New Home 2011

Guilty reality TV pleasures. Well tonight it is Rachel Zoe on the move. So here is a little tempting taste. (I hope to have some screen shots tomorrow of her new interior). How convenient -- or conveeeeenient (read SNL Church Lady) that she a styling assistant that is also a semi interior decorator.

Well can't wait to see what they do. White anyone?

Photos below, MLS and google images. Below is Rachel's current leased apartment. I love the super small kitchen. How about the Hermes blanket on the couch.
Rachel's new house. Or Rodg and Rache's new house below. MLS and Google Images.

Guilty pleasures.

Jonathan Adler -- Ping Pong Tables

If you haven't caught HGTV's My Favorite Place, it is a fun show. I caught the episode that showed Jonathon Adler and his Partner Simon Doonan's residence. What caught me most was all the color. I really loved that they said, no one uses a formal living room anymore so we made ours a game room, complete with ping pong table.

They simply made it out of 2 table bases and plywood, then covered with bright and fun wallpaper. Love it.

Jonathan Adler leaning against his ping pong table in the game room.

Simon Doonan, and their dog Liberace. Doonan on the ping pong table, and another view of the game room.

The ping pont table they made.

Not their ping pong table, but couldn't resist. A mirrored ping pong table.

Enjoy.

Lara Spencer Hollywood at Home HGTV White Dress

Lara Spencer recently showed her home on an episode of HGTV's Hollywood at Home. If you haven't seen it, HGTV has dates and times posted on their website.
HGTV
I loved her home, but it was the white shift dress that I truly fell in love with. It has these swishy dangles off it, and is gorgeous. She is wearing simple flip flops.

Enjoy this pic of the marvelous dress. How great would it be in black?

Below enjoy a few of her house, and check out Hollywood at Home on HGTV.

Living room. Thru the fireplace on the opposite side, where they lounge and watch tv. Love it.

Dining Room, love the light fixture. Bling.

Still loving that dress. Wonder where it is from?

Khloe Kardashian's Office

Guilty. I was watching Khloe and Lamar and secretly coveting her office. Her office was designed by Jeff Andrews. They were going for "glam-traditional", they totally got it.

Andrews says, Khloe had the guest chairs, and didn't really like them so he had them recovered. I love them. I love the whole office.

I needed this office pic to inspire me. It is totally windy and cold and I have been covering the garden and uncovering it daily. I have lost like 3 plants, :(, but hey, who would know that we would have freezing temperatures in May here in the southwest? Oh well.

Sinatra's Piano Swimming Pool

Frank Sinatra's Palm Beach Home, (years ago). I love the architecture, with the porch as the keys to the piano as the light comes thru. I also love the baby grand shape of the piano.

Just beautiful and inspiring.

Sarah Richardson - Nursery Show

I love Sarah Richardson Design. Oh, and Design Inc. etc..... All her shows. So I was tickled when I ran across her nursery and master bedroom show the other day under the Design Inc. A great show, that not only shows her husband but other Design Inc. staff. Oh, and who can forget the great design. Even if my daughter is grown up and in college, I still love some of the stuff in the nursery. The couch and chair are wonderful. I also love her use of all tones of cream, white, in her bedroom. I would try it, but not sure if the hubs could keep it clean. Enjoy.

Master Suite.

Nursery with changing table she designed. I love the mix of white furniture and dark furniture.

Who would not covet that couch? Anywhere in a home. Wonderful.

So cute the nursery is. The chair is actually a rocking and swivel chair. You can put any chair base on the bottom of a chair as long as it has a skirt, (it will cost you though). What a great idea in a multi-purpose room, people could swivel to talk to one another.

All photos, Sarah Richardson, Design Inc.

HGTV Dream Home 2010 Tours

While driving home the other day I was excited to see a billboard to tour the HGTV Dream Home. I promptly went to the web site and boy was I dissapointed. $20.00 to tour the Dream Home, and I have to drive on a bus. Call me cheap, but really $20.00, this is New Mexico, not California or New York. So alas, I guess I will have to settle for the tour on TV. Yes, I know it's for charity, but with the current state of the economy, you have to be joking. $20.00 for that is steep. Oh, well. For those of you that get to go enjoy.

Christina Aguilera New House -- Old Osborne House

Christa Aguilera's new house, the old Osborne's house is in this month's In Style. You can read and see more in the magazine. She has really done a makeover on this house. She wanted to erase all of the old owner's decorating style. I think she has succeeded. Enjoy.

Rachel Zoe's House - Apartment

I love celebrity real estate. Which is why I check out http://www.realestalker.blogspot.com, regularly for my real estate fix. So here is a little real estate fun for you.

Rachel and Rodger in Malibu.
Rachel Zoe's new apartment. I wonder if they sold their house to finance her new line? The views on the show from her balcony are magnificent!!

Former Home.

Food Network Giada De Laurentiis

I love peeking into houses, anyones house. I still go to open houses and the Parade of Homes because I just love it. The house below is Giada De Laurentiis from Food Network. She has great style. I myself have red leather chairs. Great look. In addition, I am in the process of painting my whole house that bright white color and loving every bit of it. Will post pics when done, hopefully will get done. So take a look and enjoy.

You can still get this look with a simple Parson's Desk from Walmart $69.00, it comes in white, and have a piece of glass or plexi cut for the top.

I love this outdoor space. Wish I was brave enough to go with cushioned furniture, but here in the southwest it is the spider capital of the world. I would always be worried about getting bit.
