I hope to have a finished picture by the weekend. So excited. Knocking down projects.

DIY Lavender Mirror
I am a huge Pretty Little Liars fan.
Love Hannah's Lavender mirror in her room. But I digress. This huge mirror is a leftover from a dresser I repurposed for my daughter. It went on top of the dresser and leaned and looked kind of sad. So, a bit of taping off and a can of spray paint later and...I love it. Now to take off the paper and find a home. Check back to see where we put it, and to see the room makeover.
Can't wait to show the after.

Makeup I love -- IT Cosmetics -- Maybelline Baby Lips
Makeup I am loving.
The other day I ordered some IT Cosmetics, the Celebration Foundation (actually ordered 2 - one for my daughter), and I Love It!!!! Quick fast and easy. I haven't worn a foundation in years, and this one I love.
Next, Maybelline, one of the first cosmetics I ever purchased. In fact, years ago when I started wearing eyeshadow, my first color was a brown and it was Maybelline. So, when looking for a new shadow the other day, I saw their Chic naturals in Dusk, a pink and a dark brown, Love Them!!!!
Speaking of love, their Baby Lips are great. I have 2 colors. Light, easy to wear, and wear well.
More lips, I love the Burt's Bees, tinted lip balm in Honeysuckle (can you tell I love a neutral).
Carmex -- seriously, have loved it for years. Anyone remember when it came in a little ceramic pot?
This is not a paid post, just stuff I love. As to the foundation, everyone uses what works for them. The others super inexpensive, and fun lift to your day.
Enjoy your Wednesday.

DIY Flowers Spilling Out of Pot On Ground
Our yard took a beating this winter. We had massive cold snaps all the way into May. I am so glad I am not trying to grow a vegetable garden this year.
However, I do have some spots that need some help. I am loving this image below from Sunstate Companies - Las Vegas, NM.
I have this great pot shown below.
I have tons of dead space out front. I think almost every plant froze to death.
I have this rock area right by the front door.
Now to decide. I am leaning towards the rock area. At the far right is a kind of large plant, but I could trim it down.
Decisions, decisions. It is 100 degrees in the Southwest right now. Too hot to plant.

Do you display Wine Corks?
Years ago at a friends house she had a big bowl of wine corks. I loved it so much I had to copy it.
I do a big bowl.
Want to get yours started, but not a big wine drinker? Look for a winemaking store/ beer making store, and call. They sell them by the bag. Or go online and buy a bag of corks. Great way to get your bowl/jar started.
Just fun. Smile.

Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork - Crockpot Cooking
I had to post this, even though I don't have the finished product pics. -- We ate it all. Oops.
Anyway, I took a pork roast, just whatever I found at the grocery store. Lots of people use Pork Shoulder/Butt -- but, (hehe) I just used a pork roast with very little fat.
Put in Crockpot, cover with a can of Chipotle Sauce, and Dr. Pepper, add 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and cook, cook, cook, until done. I cooked mine on high for 3 hours then low until it was falling apart. I shredded it in the Crockpot, added 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce, and then cooked on low for another hour.
Serve on rolls, toast, rice, noodles.
I am sure this could also be done with chicken. I would use 4-6 breasts so it made alot. Leftovers and all. I will have to give it a try.
